ty
wot can i do for tonight, i will take her the vets tomorrow
Answers:
Take food away till you get to the vet.
It can be more damaging on the body to throw up than to go hungry for a little while.
Six weeks. That is a very shitty breeder there.
I would not yet rule out parvo.
The passing of the worms is normal. Did she get any other shots while she was at the vet? They can make dogs sleepy and sometimes sick. I would offer her a small amount of food, either soft food or hard food wetted with a little water to soften it, but I would call the vet ASAP tomorrow. You should be able to call tonight and have them return your call, just to inform them and see if they have any other suggestions. I would not force food but have a small amount available. The throwing up is the main concern, so you might want to put in an emergency vet call.
I'd just let the pup rest for today and see how the pup is doing in the morning. Worms do a nasty job on the stomach and intestines too. Just watch her closely ok.
Glad to hear she is going to the vet, that is what she needs. Take along a stool sample. If you used OTC wormers they are ineffective and some are dangerous to pets. You need a vet to determine what kind (s) of worms the pup has so she can be treated properly.
Well, first of all - the breeder shouldn't get rid of the pups until they are atleast 8 weeks old. Has she had any vaccines yet? If she has, it could be a reaction to the vaccines. If not, take her to the vet as soon as possible. I would also recommend a parvo test .. It can be a very deadly disease. She may be dehydrated and need some fluids. Make sure she keeps drinking water properly and if you're taking her to the Vet tomorrow morning right away I wouldn't worry so much about the food.
!) realize if you live in the US it is against the law in most states to buy, sell, adopt or give away ANY puppy that hasn't completed it's 7th week and in some states it's 8 weeks.
2) as for your question there isn't really anything you can do tonight and passing worms after a deworming is pretty normal especially if the pup had a heavy worm infestation.
**** NO vaccinations until she is 8 weeks old!!*******
