Adopting a Puggle?

I have been offered a Puggle. All I know is she is 6 to 8 months, not fixed. I am told they can not care for the dog and a 1 year old baby. They were going to take her to the pound. I was told the dog was housebroken but with no time, now she isn't. My concern is her temperment? What do you think?
Answers:
They are high energy.
They are smart and stubborn.
They make great pets for active people who want a jogging partner or want to take up agility or something.
I think you should go meet the dog to see if you like her. You can always work on training, and re-potty train her. If you do decide to adopt her, be sure to get her spayed as soon as you can. Good Luck with your decision.
*If I was in this position, I would meet her and see how we get along. I would keep in mind that once she is at her new home, without the baby, she might mellow out. But this puppy is a baby herself, and she needs a good home where she can get the attention she deserves. If you feel that you can give her the time and attention she needs, I think it would be a good decision for both of you. You would have the companionship, and she would get proper care. And training issues aren't that hard to resolve. Just keep in mind that with this new baby, the previous owners probably didn't have a lot of time to devote to training, so obedience classes would probably be a good idea for her. Good Luck!!
dont give up on her
There's NO SUCH THING as "puggle"!
That's just stupid LIE for MUTT/MONGREL *%26* ABSOLUTELY ****NOTHING**** is predictable about ANY sort of MUTT!!
I have two puggles, 8 months and 3 months, and they are wonderful dogs. Extremely intelligient... my 8 month old was able to do things in training that the trainer said dogs don't normally do until their a year and a half.
They are lap dogs, and love to be affectionate, but you need to be firm with them. In being intelligient, they know how to push your limits and see how much they can get away with.
They are pretty active dogs, but mine are just fine with a couple of 20-30 min. walks a day and running around in the backyard.
I hope you end up taking her, they are very sweet with wonderful personalities.
Puggles are great dogs. They make perfect house pets. Just be aware that they are very energetic as puppies. They love to play and are very smart. As long as you are willing to give the dog the proper excercise and attention, which the people giving him up obviously aren't, you should do fine.
Saving this dog a trip to the pound would be a great thing for you to do. Good luck!
