Any idea which complete dog food will not give my dogs such bad wind I have 3. 2 adults and 1 puppy?

puppy has a sensitive tummy so also have to be careful what he has pups needs to be for large breed
Answers:
Firstly there is no such thing as a 'complete and scientifically balanced' commercial dog food. The wind is probably caused by the dog's inability to digest grains properly.
Conditions like sensitive skin and delicate stomachs are often alleviated or totally banished by feeding a more natural diet of raw meaty bones and offal. Most raw feeders comment on how their dogs no longer smell 'doggy' and no more room clearing farts!
There is no need to feed different foods to pups and adult dogs. The only difference is the amount and the frequency. Large breed pups benefit from this type of diet as their growth is from high quality meat proteins and natural calcium. Pups feed a prey based diet will not carry the excess 'puppy fat' that commercial fed dogs often have.
I hope the links help.
Canidae Chicken and Rice is fantastic, with great ingredients, great flavor, and helpful digestive enzymes.
The food that worked for me is a small brand called Artemis. I started feeding it because it's one of the most affordable foods recommended by the Whole Dog Journal. My dog's had gas for all of his 13 years. This is the first food I've fed where I've noticed any difference. We've fed Pedigree, Canidae, Nutro, Beneful... None really helped. I think it really depends on the dog, but try some high quality foods.
Try giving them Dog Chow or Iams dog food. For the puppy give it puppy food. Stay away from Ol'Roy. It's made of stuff that they can't Digest so it'll cause the gas and lots of pooping.
We feed Canidae All Life Stages - best food we've ever used!
We have an 8 year old Lab, and a 6 month old Lab. They love it! Their coats are shiny and healthy and they definitely have less gas!
My dogs are both puppys we had them on this purina 1 puppy chow stuff and it made them have very bad gas. we put them on Iams puppy chow and you would put yours on the large breed kind. They haven't been gassy since! Hope this helps!
i say baker's biscuits, my dog gets that on wet food so she has buscuits now, fussy bugger tho...
I had the same problem as you transitioning my dogs to superpremium food. The protein content in some of them is too much for some dogs is what I've heard. I feed California Natural which I find is a very good brand and I had fewer problems during the transition. It is made by the same company that makes Innova but the protein content is slightly lower. Also, you have to transition them from the old food to the new very very slowly or gas will result. Do it over the course of a couple of weeks, gradually adding more of the new food and decreasing the old. That should help. Also, typically you feed less of superpremium food than regular food and if you feed too much they may get gassy also.
If the diet they are using now is working well for them other than the gas issue. You can give them plain old fashioned yogurt. I give about 1 cup per large dog once a day and 1/2 cup to my smaller dog. The beneficial enzymes and bacteria really help to stop the S.B.D.'s
My dogs love it and look at like desert.
Stay away from anything you can buy in a grocery store. Purina, Iams, Eukenuba -- all full of fillers and by products pure crap.
Go to this link and try to get a food that is rated 4 or higher. THe higher the rating the better the food. You will notice where the foods I mentioned above are rated. GARBAGE.

science diet is good, but if you change just mix it gradually
Lots of USA brands given but I suggest you look at the James Wellbeloved range in UK (Good Quality priced about 拢32 per sack)
why not try raw feeding? they dont get wind, its better for thier teeth, and you get far less poo to deal with, have a look at some of the web sites, its a lot easier than you would think and so much better for them, I have a rottie pup and he just loves his food now, when he was on a complete food before I had problems getting him to eat enough, now he is looking for the next meal and enjoying his food, he is gaining weight steadily and his coat has never been so glossy and silky,
Nature's best by Science Plan has a good range, our 15 month old German shepherd has a very delicate constitution and the large breed adult serves him very well. They also have several different 'light' and delicate stomach' varieties in this or the original Science Plan range.
They also have a great feeding guide on every bag, related to the weight and breed of dog
We also feed him 'raw'. He loves it and it's a nice treat as the dry complete foods must be quite monotonous.
Both of these types of food are available at the larger pet retail stores such as pets @home or online stores.
We've also noticed that our 14 week old puppy was a very smelly producer, what with the nasty stuff puppies snaffle down...yuk. He too is on Natures Best (the puppy large version) but his 'treat' or change food was Winalot puppy. We've change him to 'Raw' and the smellies have diminished somewhat. (he ate a snail a few days ago YUK and oh boy!!)
NB we do allow for the amount of 'raw' in their diet by reducing the volume of Complete we give them, by weight/nutrition ratio.
Finally, you can by 3KG bags of the complete food to 'try' before commiting to a huge bag of food that your dogs won't eat.
The down side to this is that it is relatively expensive. But hold on to the thought that perhaps less expensive in the long run, good food, healthier dogs, perhaps fewer tummy related vets bills and definately saving cash in the air freshener department!!
