Alrite one more question for my dog.?

alrite since my puppy is already used to peeing outside when we let him out, what happens when he's finally housebroken and we're not home? like where will he "go" if no one can let him out? because on my other question people said to get rid of the potty pads. please answer w/ serious answers =]
thanks.
Answers:
once they are 6-8 months they should have the bladder control to hold it for at least 8-10 hours if neccesary.
It's also good not to feed after 6 and no water after 8 and they can hold through night.
He should be able to hold it, as long as you're not gone for a very long time. Once he's housebroken and knows it's only alright to go to the bathroom outside, he'll know that he has to hold it until someone lets him out. However, if you are gone for a full day, he will have an accident. Dogs can only hold it so long.
He'll learn to hold it until you return providing that he doesn't have access to lots of water (don't leave the toilet open!!) and you don't stay away for a long time.
Depends on the dog - mine is 14 months and will go in the house if we are not there to let her out and she is out of the crate. you might wasnt to crate the puppy when gone - you can see info on crate training at

I didn't see your other question, but yes, if no one can let him out, he will have no choice but to go.
Most dogs can hold it though, for a good amount of time, like the regular time you are away at work (8 hrs. or so), or for at least 4-6 hours, depending on the size of the dog.
If you have pee pads in the house, he will never learn to hold it.
Hope this helps(:
as dogs get older they an hold it in longer. if you are really worried it will go when you are no home make sure you don't go out for too long and let your dog out right before you leave the house.
